Your Library - Now and into the future!

The Yarra Ranges Council is developing a five year Library Strategy and Action Plan which will be important in shaping the future of their libraries. As part of that strategy they are looking for feedback from people in the community who are interested in how our libraries currently operate and how they may change in the future.

This is from the preamble to the community forum website they have set up at Yarra Ranges Views:

"With people's lifestyles and technology changing at a fast rate, how do we make sure libraries are still meeting the needs of the community? Your feedback is important and we encourage you to think creatively and express your ideas openly through this online forum. You can also see what other people have said and decide if you agree or not with their thoughts."

You can join the discussion and post your thoughts and views on the website at:

Your Library - Now and into the future!

Cheers, Paul.

PS: The forum runs for two weeks from Monday 29th November to Friday 17th December.
