Our natural environment

Join Karen Garth from Eco-Adventure Tours who will discuss living in harmony with the local environment. Karen's walks and tours of the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges examine Aboriginal and European history and also the unique animals and plants of the area.

A Taste of... Sheree Marris

Sheree is one of Australia’s youngest environmental ambassadors and born communicator, she is a public speaker, a radio co-host with the ABC, has numerous television appearances, writes, presents and produces documentaries and commercials. Sheree is an award-winning author, her book KamaSEAtra – Secrets of Sex in the Sea, is a testament to her unique and quirky style.

Friday @ Your Library - Waste Minimisaton & Green Purchasing Workshop

This workshop is the last in a series of sessions run by the Knox City Council Greenleaf project. This is as ongoing partnership through which individuals, businesses, schools and Council can work collectively to reduce our combined impacts upon the environment. The project seeks to engage the different segments of the community by providing simple, practical and affordable solutions to sustainability issues in a way that suits individuals.
