The Man from Snowy River a popular choice in Boronia Library's 366 event

Recently Boronia Library offered members a unique opportunity to participate in an event to promote reading in the National Year of Reading - 366 people reading The Man from Snowy River simultaneously.

In excess of 300 people participated in two locations (another location was added due to the inclement weather).

Thanks to all who participated, including staff and students from Boronia K12 College, St Joseph's Primary School, CWA, Fernwood Gym, Wesley Do Care, Home Library Service, Outer Eastern Literacy and library members.

Everyone read from The Man from Snowy River for one minute. Participants at the library enjoyed it so much they continued reading.

Well done!
