Unfinished David Foster Wallace novel to be published

It's been announced that the final, unfinished novel of author David Foster Wallace, set in an IRS tax return processing office, will be published in 2010. Wallace, author of Infinite Jest, commited suicide late last year after a long battle with depression.

The novel will be titled The Pale King and an excerpt has been published in the New Yorker.

According to the press release found at The Howling Fantods:
"The partial novel runs several hundred thousand words and will include notes, outlines, and other material to help readers understand this great unfinished work."
