National Storywriting Competition

It's time to fire up the computer or typewriter and enter our National Storywriting Competition. It's our 21st year running the competition and the judge you'll need to impress is Robert Hillman, winner of the 2005 National Biography Award for his memoir, The Boy in the Green Suit.

A significant change this year is the earlier closing date - Friday 22nd August 2008. It's a little earlier than usual as the presentation of prizes will coincide with the Maroondah Writers' and Readers' Festival in early October.
