Get your Greenie On! Stringybark Suburban Sustainability Festival this Weekend!

The Stringybark Festival is back again! With successful turnouts of around 25,000 visitors every year, the Stringybark Festival has become an incredibly popular festival for families and the community.

Be prepared to walk your legs off - there is heaps to do and see. This year there is over 80 free workshops and activities for the kids - so make sure you have space in the "pool room" or on the fridge because chances are you'll need it. Teens can also jazz up their social media profiles with "I've been Boothed" and the "Canvas Challenge" from Knox Youth Services - so be sure to check out the details and "Like" their Facebook page.

Eastern Regional Libraries will also be there with the Knox Flexi Vehicle - so keep your eyes open on the day. We'll be there to answer questions, sign up new memberships and just say hello!

Stringybark Festival Activities include:
* Fair Trade and locally made goods Market Stalls
* Handmade crafts
* Children’s fairground (with a low environmental impact)
* Roving performers
* Native animal displays
* Event kitchen cooking demonstrations
* Fabulous food from around the world
* Live music and performances across four stages – one sustainability pedal powered
* Learn tons of ways to save money whilst saving the environment
* The Stringybark Festival is a Plastic Bag Free event, so be sure to pack your eco-bags.

Sounds like a plan, guys - So get out there and enjoy the weather this weekend. Apparently it's going to be quite lovely. See you at the Festival!
