Due to an error it appears that Belgrave members may have received blank email notices this week. As Belgrave Library is closed for a few days next week please contact the library via the Contact form on the website and we'll let you know what the notice was about.

Apologies for any confusion caused with Final Overdue notices this week
Eastern Regional Libraries would like to apologise for the confusion caused when some Final Overdue notices were sent out on incorrect stationery on Monday.
The items listed are still outstanding, it was the stationery they were printed on that was incorrect.
Any questions regarding your account please contact your local branch or contact us via the website contact form.
Cheers, Maryanne

Our summer holiday is quickly slipping away, and in February we will be diving into a full program of activities, bookclubs, book chats, internet and family history training. Check the Calender of Events on our web page to see what is coming.
A computer help group which has continued running at Lilydale Library right through January is the Seniors Computer Club. It runs each Monday for 2 sessions, in the morning from 10:30am - 12noon and the afternoon from 2 - 3:30pm. The group is conducted by some very helpful volunteers who have a wealth of knowledge to share, and is informal and unstructured learning. You don't have to book in, just come when convenient, and be helped with the specific issues you are dealing with in relation to the internet or your computer.
Music today was from Vintage Comedy Collection vol. 3 and References, piano music of Ravel.

Do you want a pre-overdue email notice? Provide your email address. Starts 17th January
Would you like to be notified BEFORE your items are overdue?
Well then you'll probably love our pre-overdue reminder notices. These will be sent to everyone with an email address attached to their card. So if you haven't given us your email address yet, this is a fantastic incentive.
The service will not start until 17th January. After the members with current email addresses on their records will regularly receive email reminders 4 days before the items are due.
This notice is only available via email and does not affect the way you receive your hold and overdue notices (SMS, paper, phone, email)
UPDATE: I have added a sign up for pre-overdue notices to the Get a PIN form
Sign up for pre-overdue notices (now called Due Date Reminders)

We are currently experiencing issues with the UK edition of findmypast
We are currently having some issues accessing the UK version of findmypast. The Australian version is working with no problems. We are working on a fix with the vendors.
If you are after information from the UK census' please search Ancestry from our Family History website although not the 1911 census.
I'll advise everyone when this is fixed.
