Arnold is a well-known Melbourne author who has written several non-fiction works in addition to his novels. 'Jewels and Ashes' is a moving account of Arnold's family and their experiences in Europe and Australia. His novels, Cafe Scheherazade and Scraps of Heaven have both won critical acclaim. Arnold will talk about the craft of writing, the migrant experience and literature in multi-cultural Australia.
