Well.... you're probably wondering what's happened to the lists of new CDs and DVDs that I usually add to the blog. I've been having a bit of a technical problem with the script that creates the list and have been unable to post these articles.

I'll have these lists on the blog very soon - I promise, er hope :-D.

Literary Lunch – Adrian Hyland

In creating his detective novel, Diamond Dove, Adrian Hyland has drawn on his years spent among indigenous people in the Northern Territory.
His book has been described as 'a great fun read, a crime novel with a true larrikin spirit'.

Since studying languages and classics at Melbourne University Adrian has had a variety of jobs, he currently teaches at Latrobe University. Adrian has been a keen reader and writer all his adult life, Diamond Dove is his first book.

After a childhood in country Victoria Ilsa spent time in the RAAF, and worked at a variety of jobs before returning to study. Author of the popular Laundry series, Ilsa has combined writing with motherhood and a successful academic career; she recently completed her PhD.
