Lunch with Arnold Zable
Arnold is a well-known Melbourne author who has written several non-fiction works in addition to his novels. Jewels and Ashes is a moving account of Arnold’s family and their experiences in Europe and Australia. His novels, Café Scheherazade and Scraps of Heaven have both won critical acclaim.
Arnold will talk about the craft of writing, the migrant experience and literature in multi-cultural Australia.

Lunch with M.J.Hyland
Maria Hyland released her first book, How the Light Gets In, in 2003. How the Light Gets In was published in Australia, Europe, Israel, the USA and Canada, and was shortlisted for both the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize and The Age Book of the Year Award in 2004.
M.J.Hyland’s new book Carry Me Down is due for release this year.
